WHO?
The founder Rev. Andrew Jweda, is basically a multilingual Associate Professor in Business Management (MBA in Management and Human Resources Development).
Rev. Andrew was born Christian in Mesopotamia in 1960. He was raised in an evangelical family. His Grandfather was a strong believer, preacher, and an evangelical in the Protestant Evangelical Church in Basrah, Iraq, in coordination with the American missionary in the Middle East in the beginning of the 20th century.
Rev. Andrew has been in many countries around the world for study or work, during which, he was active in serving the Lord through leading worship and service. He always had this unrevealed dream and hope of becoming a servant of the Lord where he can serve and help people restoring their relationship with God.
In 2015, Rev. Andrew took his theology courses and pastoral training with York St. Peter's Evangelistic Organization. After fulfilling the requirements, he was ordained as a Minister in Christian Faith.
Registered for Masters of Theological Studies at Wycliffe College University of Toronto.
WHY?
Through his work with different congregations and churches worldwide, Rev. Andrew noticed that there are challenges facing the Christian faith, and how the traditional churches are losing their members because they are rigid and denominationally over-centered.
He felt that these denominations are more driven by their constitutions over the relationship with God. These churches are aging, failing to get new and young members causing the drop in the number of attendees, decline in resources and other financial issues, and eventually many of them are forced to downsize, rent their premises, even compromise their beliefs in return for support, otherwise, close.
Therefore, Rev. Andrew decided to start this non-denominational ministry hoping to simply bring back people and the lost sheep to the Good Shepherd.
